ELECTION OF OFFICES SET FOR JUNE 22 Announcement was made today by the President that the election of officers and directors will be held Tuesday night June June 22, in accordance with the Constitution of the Club. Notice is given at this time in order that the members may give serious thought to the matter of who shall guide the destinies of the Polygon Club during the period July 1, 1937 to June 30, 1938. Members are advised to refer to Article V, Section 3 of the Constitution for information relative to the election and for further information on duties etc. of officers and directors refer to the following: Articles IV and V of the Constitution and Articles III, IV, and V of the By-Laws. Attention is called to the fact that Section 2 of Article V of the Constitution is amended to include the Financial Secretary on the Board.

FESTIVAL DATES CHANGED Word has been received from the Collins Management Service that they will be able to give us our second choice of nights for the Fall Festival, namely, Monday. The dates and programs follow: Oct. 4 - Kings Ambassador Quartet Oct. 11 - Harold D. Elde Oct. 18 - Lucille Elmore Party Oct. 25 - Play - "Mysterious Mr. Mason"


What about "June Night" Joe? We're all anxious to hear something definite about it.

LAPEL BUTTONS ORDERED President Pace stated that the Board of Directors had awarded the contract for Polygon Club lapel buttons to George Wheless. The die for the button will be made from one of the original Polygon Club pins. A small quantity are expected to arrive within two weeks. The cost of these lapel buttons, which will be gold filled, is $1.50 each - order yours early to avoid the rush. The entire membership will be glad to learn that George found it possible to furnish the exact type button which was desired, thereby obtaining the order.

Bruce Bartlett failed to be present at the last Club meeting and thereby threw away his chance for winning the Attendance Contest HAT, but there are still nine memebrs who are running in first place. Of course we realizzed that Bruce has much more important things on his mind these days that Polygon Club meetings - or winning a hat.

The Polygon Club Bowlers took three out of three games from the American Legion team last week but -- the American Legion team wasn't present. The match was won by forfeit. Gordon Vaughan stated that the Lion's Club team won the second half of the League. This means that out team, winners of the first half, will bowl against the Lion's on Wednesday, June 9th, for the championship of the Civic League. We all hope that our team comes away with a trophy.

Quite a number of Polygons are planning to attend the YMCA Conference at Blue Ridge, N. C. (just 15 miles from Ashville) from July 18-24th.

The object of the Polygon Club is to encourage and promote service, health, fellowship, education, and progress among the members and in the community in an atmosphere of Christian living.
