245 And farther that she satisfie and pay all such debts as remain due and owing from ye sd estate to any pson or psons [person or persons] within this Colony. And after such debts are payd that then ye sd Hanah Archer bring a true and just accompt [account] of ye Surplushage of ye sd estate when she shall be lawfuly Called: and deliver the same to ye Justices for ye use of such person or psons to whom of right it shall belong Given und my hand and ye seal of ye Colony this 21th day of Aprill Anno Dom 1695 Adminiscon of Wm Archers estate to Hanah Archer EAndros R Wormeley Secty [Secretary]

This Indenture made ye fifteene day of Septembr in the year of our Lord God one thousand six hundred ninty and five between John Willingham of Charles Citty County on ye one part and John Young of ye aforsaid County on the other part Wittnesseth that ye sd John Willingham for ye Consideration of tree [sic] pounds starlling [sterling] and five hundred pounds of Tobaco to him in hand payd by ye sd John Young before ye Sealing & delivering of these prts [presents] the receit. Wherof ye sd John Willingham doth by thes pnts [presents] acknowledg himself therwith fully satisfied Contented & payd, and therof & therfrom doth acquitt Exonerate fror [for] ever drscharge [discharge] the sd John Young his heirs Executors & admrs [administrators] by these pnts have granted barganed aliened sold enfeofed and confirmed and by thes pnts doth grant bargan alend [sic] sell enfeeofee and Confirme unto ye sd John Young his heirs and assignes for ever one one parcill or tract of Land conteining fiffty acres cituate [situate] lying on the south side of James River in ye aforsaid County bounded Vizt. begining att a corner black oak saplin the dividing line between Thomas Willingham and Edward Willingham and runeth thence E by N seventy poles thence N by W one hundred and forteen poles to two Scrubby back [black?] oaks marked fore ways thence W by S seventy poles to a red oak marked fore ways thence S by E one hundred and forteen poles to the place first it begun att ye aforsaid Land To have hold use occupy posses & enjoy the sd tract of Land with all and singular its rights members privelidges preheminances properties use inheritance benifitts conveniences and apertenances therof whatsoever they bee unto him ye sd John Young his heirs Extors and admrs & to his & their own proper use and behoof [behalf] for Ever more, in as full ample and benifis all and as fully wholly to all intents Construction & purposes as ye sd John Willingham or his heires and assignes may can might or ought to have Enjoyed the same and he ye sd John Willingham for his heires and assignes all & Every ye abve mentioned bargained pmses unto ye sd John Young his heires and and asignes shall and will warrant and ever defend against all psons [persons] Claming by from or under my hand This 15th day of Septemb: 1695 John his ‡ mark Willingham Amey hir [her] A mark Willingham signed sealed ddd in the pnce [presence] of us Joshua Wynne Wm Epes John Peterson
