250 March Court. 1754.

Ordered that David McQualty pay Margaret Northcut two hundred & seventy five pounds of Tobacco for eleven days attendance as an Evidence for him against McAboy.

Ordered that David McQualty pay Benjamin Asbury one hundred & fifty pounds of Tobacco for fourteen days attendance as an Evidence for him against McAboy

Ordered that Elizabeth McAboy pay Ann Gray three hundred & fifty pounds of Tobacco for fourteen days attendance as an Evidence for her at suit of McQualty.

Ordered that Elizabeth McAboy pay William Corbin two hundred & fifty pounds of Tobacco for ten days attendance as an Evidence for her at suit of McQualty.

Ordered that Elizabeth McAboy pay William Walker four hundred & thirty pounds of Tobacco for ten days attendance as an $vidence for her at suit of McQualty & for coming & returning thirty Miles twice.

In the Action of Trespass upon the Case between Richard Bernard Gent. Pet. & John Sylvia deft. a Jury to wit, Robert Washington, John Fitzhugh Gowry Waugh, Samuel Seldon, Thomas Bunbury Junr. William Etherington, Robt/ Ashby, Benjamin Massy, John Withers, William Horton, Saml. Earle, & Andrew Edwards, were Sworn to try the Issue joined who brought in their Verdict in these Words, "We find for the Pet. fifteen hundred ninety & an half pounds of Tobacco Saml. Earle foreman." which Verdict at the Plt's Motion is admitted to record, & it's considered by the Court that the Plt. recover the same of the sd. deft. & his Costs by him in this behalf expended.

In the Action of debt between John Weathers Pet. & Mourning Richards def.t the def.t for Plea said that he hath paid the debt in the declaration mentioned the Pet. joined the [illegible] & the Trial is referred till the next Court. -The Suit on Attachment obtained by William Row by Gent. against the Estate of Stephen Pilcher is dismis. the sd. Stephen paying costs. -In the Action of debt between William Black Pet. & James Chinn Joseph Chinn & Rawleigh Chinn, deft.s the defts came into Court & confessed Judgment to the Pet. for thirty seven pounds eight shilings, & eleven pence half penny its thereupon considered by the Court that the Pet. recover the same of the sd. deft & his costs by him in this behalf exponded. But this Judgment is to be discharged (the costs excepted) on payment of eighteen pounds, fourteen shillings & five pence three far things, with Interest thereon from the first day of June, one thousand seven hundred & fifty two till the same is paid.
