251 March Court 1754.

Ordered that where any Suit shall be continued at either Party's Costs such Suit shall Stand as continued at Such Party's Costs till called again.

Then the Court adjourned till tomorrow morning 9 OClock. John Mercer.

At a Court continued and held for Stafford County 14th March 1754.

In the Action of debt between William Pickett Plt. & Richard Brooks deft. the Plt. failing to prosecute his Suit on the deft's Motion he is nonsuited & ordered to pay the deft. damages according to Law & Costs.

The Action of Trespass upon the Case between William Pickett Plt. & Mark Kenton deft. is dismist the Plt. paying Costs.

In The Action of Trespass between Robert Massey Gent. Plt. & Jacob Johnson deft. The Errors filed in this Cause being argued are adjudged good, it's thereupon further considered by the Court that the Judgment be arrested and that the deft. go hence without day & that he recover of the Plt. his Costs about his defence in this behalf expended.

The suit in Chancery between Michael Hall Compt. & Grace Barry deft. is dismist & the Compt. is ordered to pay to the deft. her Costs about her defence in this behalf expended.

In the Action of Trespass upon the Case between William Mountjoy Plt. & George Gent [Ghent] deft. the Errors filed in this Cause being argued are adjudged good its thereupon farther considered by the Court that the Judgment be arrested, that the deft. go hence without day, & that he recover of the sd. Plt. his Costs by him about his defence in this behalf expended.

In the Action of debt between Andrew Cockrane & Compy. Plt. & Adam Stephen deft. the demurrer joined in this Cause being argued is overruled, and the Plea of the deft. adjudged good, its thereupon considered by the Court that the Plts. take nothing by their Bill, & the deft. go hence without day & that he recover of the sd.
