Upon an Inditement preferred against Edward Ralls Alexander Baxter & John Foy who having pleaded not guilty a Jury to wit Robert Garrant, George Bell, John Withers, Andrew Edwards, Robert English, George Rankins, John English, Peter Murphy, Michael Ryan, Merryman Tiller Lawrence Sudduth & Benj. Selman were sworn to try the Issue joined who brought in their Verdict in these Words "We of the Jury do find Edward Ralls, Anthony Horton, Alexander Baxter and John Foy guilty Andrew Edwards foreman" whereupon its ordered to be recorded, & its adjudged by the Court that the sd. Ralls be fined ten pounds Sterling, Alexander Baxter forty shillings sterling, & John Foy ten Pounds sterling for the use of our Lord the King & that they pay the Costs.

Ordered that the Sheriff take Edward Ralls, Alexander Baxter, & John Foy into his custody till they enter into bond in one hundred pound Sterling, Each with two Securities each in fifty pounds Sterling, or one good security each in one hundred pounds sterling for their good Behavior, & keeping the Peace a year today.

On Motion of Thomas Spalding his Petition in Relation of his Ear being bit off is admitted to record.

In the Suit on Petition between Thomas Ficklin Platt & John James def't.

Judgement is granted the Plt. for two pounds nineteen Shillings & eight Pence with Costs and a lawyer's Fee.

In the Suit on Petition between Robert Walker Plt. & John Alexander def't by consent of both parties all matters in difference between them are referred to the determination of William Fitzhugh, & Robert Massey Gent. & their award to be made the Judgment of the Court, & its further agreed by & between the sd. Parties that if either of them do meet the last. Saturday in this Month at Boyd's Hole the arbitrators are to proceed.
