In the action of debt between Alexander Woodroe H. Pets. and John Hamilton Gent. def. [defendant] the def. [defendant] came into court and confessed. Judgement to the pets. for twenty two pounds. It's thereupon considered by the Court that the pets. recover the same of the [illegible] def. [defendant] and their costs by them in this behalf expended. But this Judgment is to be discharged the Costs excepted on Payment of seven pounds with Interest thereon from the first day of May one thousand seven hundred and fifty three till paid, and the pls. [plaintiff] agree to stay execution three months.

It's thereupon considered by the Court that the pets. recover the same of the def. [defendant] and their costs by them in this behalf expended. But this Judgment is to be discharged the Costs expended on Payment of thirty pounds six shillings and an half penny with Interest thereon from the first day of August one thousand seven hundred and fifty three till the same is paid

[defendant] for Lands and appurtenances in the Parish of Overwharton in this County which William Fitzburgh Esq. demised to the pet. for a farm and as is set forth in the declaration. John Payton gent. being admitted def. [defendant] in the room of the J. Frigg pleaded not guilty confessed Lease Entry and Ouster and agreed to insist only on the [illegible] the pet. joined the Issue and the the trial thereof is referred to the next Court.
