363 April Court, 1755.

In the Action of debt between Richard Fristoe Senr. & John Kirk deft. a Jury to wit, William Northcut, William Allen, John Peyton, William Bussell, James Oneal jur. John Toby, Spencer Bashaw, Murda McCoy, Samuel Mitchell, Richard Randall, William Mills & Jacob Johnson were sworn to try the Issue joined who brought in their Verdict in these Words, "We of the Jury find for the Plt. nine pounds, six Shillings & six Pence William Allen foreman" which Verdict at the Plt's. Motion is admitted to record & it's considered by the Court that the Plt. recover of the sd. deft. the sd. sum of nine pounds six Shillings & six pence by the Jurors aforsd. in their Verdict aforsd. assessed & his costs by him in this behalf expended

In the Ejectione firmæ between Maximillian Robinson Gentn. Pltf & John Ralls deft. for Lands & Appurtenances in the Parish of Overwharton in this County as is set forth in the declaration. It's ordered that the Surveyor of this County go upon the Lands in Controversy on Monday the nineteenth of next Month if fair if not the next fair day survey, & lay off the same as either party would have it having regard to all patents & Evidences as shall be produced by either of the Parties & report all matters of fact specially to June Court, and the Sheriff is ordered to attend the Survey, to remove force (if any offered) & the Surveyor is ordered to return three fair Plats & reports to the Clerk's Office in due time before the day of hearing ~

In the Action of Trespass Assault & Battery between Francis Broox Plt. & Darby Ocain deft. a Jury to wit. Cain Withers, John Fitzhugh, James Berry, John Short, William Johnson, John Waller, William Matheny, John Mason, Alexander Doniphan, Husbandfoote Whitecotton, Robert Mannan & John Kirk, were Sworn to try the Issue joined who brought in their Verdict in these Words "We of the Jury find for the deft. which Verdict at the deft's. Motion is admitted to Record, & it's considered by the Court that the Plt. take nothing by his Bill, that the deft. go hence without day, & that he recover of the sd. Plt. his costs by him in this behalf expended. Present Henry Fitzhugh, & Thomas Fitzhugh Gent.

In the suit on Petition between Robert & Edward Maxwells Plts. & Peter Byram junr. deft. Judgment is granted the Plts. for six hundred and thirty one pounds of Tobacco & Costs.

In the Action of debt between Peter Wiggington who as well for our Lord the King for the Use of the Church Wardens of Overwharton Parrish as for himself prosecutes Plt. & John Hinvarden deft. a Jury to wit
