279 June Court, 1754.

In the Action of Trespass upon the Case between William Fitzhugh Gent. Plt. & Winifred Massey Admrx. &c of all, & singular the Goods & Chattles, Rights, & Credits of Robert Massey decd. deft. the deft. not appearing Judgment is granted the Plt. against her, & Withers Conway her Security for what of the Sum sued for in the declaration shall appear to be justly due, unless the deft. do appear at the next Court & answer the Plt's, Action.

Plt's & Winifred Massey Admrx &c.. of Robert Massey decd. deft. the deft. not appearing, Judgment is granted the Plts. for what of the sum sued for in the declaration shall appear to be justly due, unless the deft. do appear at the next Court & answer the Plts. Action

In the Action of Trespass upon the Case between John Stork Plt. & Winifred Massey Adminrx. &c. of Robert Massey decd. deft. - The deft. not appearing Judgment is granted the Plt. against her, & Withers Conway her Security for what of the Sum sued for in the declaration shall appear to be justly due, unless the deft. do appear at the next Court & answer the Plt's Action.

In the Suit on Scire facias brought by James Hunter William Talliafero, Charles Dick, & Fielding Lewis Executors of the last Will, & Testament of William Hunter decd. against John Hamilton Gent. the sd. John came into Court & confessed Judgment for twenty eight pounds sixteen Shillings, & one hundred & four pounds of Tobacco & fifteen shillings, or one hundred & fifty pounds of Tobacco, it's thereupon considered by the Court that the James, William, Charles, & Fielding have Execution against the sd. John for the same & Costs. But this Judgment is to be discharged (the Costs excepted) to wit, one hundred & four pounds of Tobacco, & fifteen Shillings, or one hundred & fifty pounds of Tobacco on payment of fourteen pounds eighteen Shillings & eleven pence with Interest thereon from the fourteenth day of July one thousand seven hundred & fifty two till the same is paid.

In the Suit on Petition between John Tayloe Esqr. Plt. & George Knight deft. Judgment is granted the Plt. for five hundred pounds of Tobacco, & eighteen Shillings & six pence with Costs & a Lawyers Fee.

In the Suit on Petition between Bartram Ewell Gent. & George Knight deft. Judgment is granted the Plt. for four pounds one Shilling & three Pence half penny, & Costs & a Lawyer's Fee.

Ordered that Bertram Ewell pay William Carr two hundred & eighty pounds of Tobacco for four days attendance as an Evidence for him against Knight, & for
