In the Action of debt between Robert Dreghorn and Co. Pets. and Jeremiah Carter deft. by consent of the Parties the Issue in this suit to be tried by a Jury is waved and the Metter submitted to the Court where upon it's considered by the Court that the Pet. recover of the sd. deft. the Sum of eighteen pounds fourteen shillings and their Costs by them in this behald expended. But this Judgment is to be discharged (the Costs excepted) on Payment of nine pounds seven shillings with Interest thereon from the sixth day of March one thousand seven hundred and fifty three till the the same is paid

Cain Withers, John Fitzhugh, James Berry, John Short, William Johnson, John Waller, William Matheny, John Mason, Weedon Smith, Husband foste Whitecotton Robert Mannon and John Kirk were sworn to try the Issue joined who brought in their Verdict in these Wrods "We find for the Pet. nine pouds fifteen shillings and ninepence debt and twenty shillings, John Short foreman" Which Verdict at the Pet's Motion is admitted to record. And it's considered by the Cort. that the Pet. recover of the sd. deft. the sd. Sum of nine pounds fifteen shillings and nine pence and twenty shillings the damage, by their Jurors aforsd. in their Verdict aforsd. assessed and his Costs by him in this behalf expended
