On the application of Hagar a Negroe Woman for obtaining leave to bring suit against Philip Gaines in forma pauperis for the recovery of her freedom, On hearing the same and satisfactory proof appearing to the Court. Leave is granted to bring said suit. And it is Ordered that the said Hagar remain in custody of the sheriff unitll the said Philip Gaines shall give bond with security either in Court or with the clerk of this Court to have her forthcoming to answer the Judgment of the Court and that William Kelly Esqr be assigned counsel for the said Hagar.
