The Commonwealth of Virginia to the sheriff of Wythe county, greeting: We command you that of the goods and chattels of Frederick Idle late in your bailiwick, you cause to be made Sixteen Dollars --- which Philip Gaines lately in our county court of Grayson hath recovered against the said Frederick Idle for fine also One Dollar twelve cents which to the said Philip Gaines in the same court were adjudged for his costs by him about his suit in that behalf expended. Whereof the said Frederick Idle is convict as appears to us of record; and that you have the same before the Justices of our said court, at the courthouse, on the fourth Tuesday in August next to render to the said Philip Gaines of the fine and costs aforesaid. And have then there this writ, Witness William Bourne Clerk of our said Court, at the courthouse the 29th day of June 1808, in the 32nd year of the Commonwealth.
