The State of Maryland, Baltimore County, towit: At a County Court of the Sixth Judicial District of the State of Maryland, begun and held at the Court house within the City of Baltimore, in and for the County of aforesaid, on the first day of May, in the year of our Lord, one thousand, eight hundred and thirty two- Present, The Honorable, Stevenson Archer , Chief Judge Charles W Hanson Thomas Kell} Esquires associate Judges- Henry Green, Esquire, Sheriff, Arad Israel Clerk Among other, were the following proceedings, towit: William Alexander & Louisa, his wife,for themselves, and for Cog Habon and Eliza, Minors & children of the said William & Louisa. vs. James M. Selden Be it remembered, that now here, at the above term, come into Baltimore County Court here, as well the said William Alexander and Louisa, his wife, foe themselves, and for Cog Habon and Eliza, minors & children of the said William and Louisa, by Upton S. Heath, Esquire.their attorney, as the said James M. Selden. by John Glenn, Esquire, his attorney- And thereupon by consent of the said parties, by their attorneys aforesaid and action is docketed wherein the said William Alexander, and Louisa his wife for themselves, and for Cog Habon and Eliza, minors and children of the said William and Louisa, are Plaintiffs, and the said James M. Selden is defendant-And thereupon the said Plaintiffs, by their attorney aforesaid exhibit to the Court here, their petition inform following towit. "To the Hon-ble the Judges of Baltimore County Court - The petition of William Alexander and Louisa, his wife, for themselves, and Cog Habon and Eliza, minors and children of the said William & Louisa, by the said William their next friend, respectfully swhowith that the said William was imported from parts beyond the Seas, towit, from the State of Virginia into Maryland, in the month of November, Eighteen hundred and thirty one, by James M Selden, Esquire. of Baltimore= he [avers?] that said Selden has resided int the T State
