To the Honble The Governor in Council The widow of Robert Taliaferro in behalf of her Self & Children humbly Sheweth That since the death of your petrs [petitioner's] husband William Edings Denis Lenssey and one Southall have Entered with the Surveyor for Several tracts of land in Spotsylvania County who hath surveyed the same according to the said Several Entries and that the sd [said] tracts are within the bounds of a Survey made by her said husband some short time before his death. Wherefore she humbly prays that no patent may be granted upon the sd [said] Surveys until your petr [petitioner] be heard before your Honrs and shall pray &c
