No. 3. In Testimony whereof I William Marshall Clerk of the United States Court for the fifth Circuit and Virginia District have hereunto set my hand and affixed the Seal of my office this fourth of June 1812. Will: Marshall.

No. 3 Certificate of the Admission of Mary Ryan as a Citizen of the United States

In the name of God amen Know all men that I William Ryan of the City of Richmond & Commonwealth of Virginia, do make and publish this writing as my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all other Wills heretofore made First my Will and desire is that all my real Estate shall be immediately sold, Second And that the money received for the same or the amount of the Sale shall be divided into two equal parts, third, that one part shall go to my Wife Mary Ryan and the other part be divided into three other equal portions one of which three portions, I will shall go to my Nephew William Ryan, son of Laurence Ryan, another of the three portions shall go to my Nephew Lawrence Ryan son of Patrick Ryan and the remaining portion of the three shall go to my Niece Mary Ryan now in Cashall in the County of Tipperary, Ireland, Kingdom of Great Britain. Fourth; all my personal Estate after just Debts, satisfied shall go to my beloved Wife Mary Ryan. And lastly I constitute and appoint Thomas Pulling and James Lynch my Executors to this Will, dated October 24th one thousand eight hundred and eleven. At a Court of Hustings held for the City of Richmond at the Courthouse the ninth day of November 1811; This Will was proved by the oaths of Gurden Huntington Bacchus, and Hugh Warden witnesses thereto and ordered to be Recorded, Test Thos. C. Howard Clk Jno Lynch qualifies as executor to the foregoing will, at January Ct 1812, & entered into Bond with [illegible] Todd & Wm Lamb securities in the penalty of $1000. A Copy Test Thos. C.
