To the Honorable the Speaker and House of Burgesses. The Petition of Thomas Minor of the County of Spotsylvania Humbly sheweth That your Petitioner was sommond from the said County to attend the Honorable the General Court in the Month of October in the Year one thousand seven hundred and seventy one as a Venire man, on the Tryal of one John King-------- who was sent from the said county as a Felon. That your Petitioner attended the said tryal and through some mistake was omitted being entered with the rest of the Venire who also attended the said tryal, and was allowed for the Distance of one hundred and ten miles, but that nothing has been levied for your Petitioners said attendance. He therefore humbly prays that this Honorable Honor will give your Petitioner such Relief as to them shall seem right and just And your Petitional as in Duty bound will pray. Thomas Minor
