the said James Cotton shall the said Josiah Rann instruct in the craft, mystery & occupation that he the said James Cotton now useth after the best manner that he can or may teach instruct or inform or cause to be taught, instructed or informed as much as thereunto belongeth or in any wise appertaineth; And the said James Cotton shall also find & allow to the said Josiah Rann sufficient meat, drink, apparel, washing, lodging & all other things needful or meet for an apprentice during the term aforesaid. And the said James Cotton shall also pay or cause to be paid to the said Josiah Rann the sum of twelve dollars when free.
