Augusta County Court Clerk's office to wit: Registered in this office, Edmund Man (son of Charity Mann) a free person of colour, now about Twenty Nine years of age, dark complexion, a scar on the forehead, breast & right leg, five feet eight inches high, and formerly bound as an apprentice to William Terry & William Fortune; as affixed by the certificate of John Hunter Clerk of [Louisa?] County Court, bearing date the 19th June 1816.
