Know all men by There presents that I William Hall of the county of Fairfax have bargained and sold, and by there Presents do bargain and sell unto John Arnold of the county of King George [illegible] my right Title and Interest is [illegible] to one negroe girl named Suckey, now in the [illegible] Mary [illegible], and bequeathed to her during her life, in and by the last will and Testament of Susannah [illegible] lately deceased, and at and after the death of the said Mary to Susannah Hall wife of the said William together with all the increase of the said Girl Suckey for and in consideration of the sum of sixty pounds lawful money of Virginia—to me is [hard?] paid at or before the ensealing and delivery of these [illegible] the [receipt?] whereof is hereby acknowledged—And I the said William for myself my heirs executor, and administrator, unto the said John his Heirs executors and administrators, the said Girl Suckey with all her increase shall and will [warrant?] and for ever defend against the lawful claim of all persons whatsoever—In [illegible], whereof I have hereunto [illegible] my land and affixed my seal this Thirteenth day of June Eighteen hundred and twelve.
