KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, THAT WE Nicholas Marmion and Alexander Young are held and firmly bound unto Andrew Hunter in the sum of One hundred and Eighty Dollars to be paid to the said Andrew Hunter his heirs executors, administrators, or assigns, to the true payment of which we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors, and administrators, jointly and severally, firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seals, and dated this 29th day of January 1834
WHEREAS One negro woman the property of William Graham deceased at the time of his death unadministered in the hands of the above bound Nicholas Marmion his administrator to be administered is now in the custody of G.W. Sappington DS for R. Williams High Sheriff of Jefferson County, taken by virtue of a writ of fieri facias issued from the Circuit superior Court of Law & chancery for Jefferson county at the suit of Andrew Hunter against the goods and chattels which were of William Graham deceased at the time of his death unadministered in the hands of Nicholas Marmion his administrator to be administered for the sum of fifty Dollars with interest thereon to be computed after the rate of six per centum per annum, from the 29th day of September 1832 until paid, which Andrew Hunter, in a joint case of Foreign attachment with John J. Brown as plaintiffs, and Edward W. Graham and the said Nicholas, administrator as aforesaid defendants late in our circuit superior court of law and chancery holden in and for Jefferson County by a decree in chancery hath recovered against for debt; also twenty nine dollars and twenty-three cents which by the same count were adjudged the said Andrew Hunter for the costs by him about his suit in that behalf expended; amounting in the whole to Eighty-Eight Dollars and Sixty-two cents $88.62 including sheriff's commissions and sixty-three cents for taking this bond; and upon giving bond and security; the aforesaid property is restored to the above bound Nicholas Marmion on the following condition: That if the above bound Nicholas Marmion and Alexander Young do well and truly deliver to the aforesaid Sheriff, the property aforesaid, at the county house of Jefferson County on the first day of February court next, the time and place appointed for the sale of the aforesaid property, then the above obligation to be void, otherwise to remain in full force and virtue in law.
