James P. woods, Joseph H. Chitwood, Whitwell W. Coxe Law Offices, Woods, Chitwood & Coxe, 507-8-9-10 Terry Building, Roanoke, Virginia March 7th, 1918. Mrs. Mary Branch Munford, Chairman Central Committee, Richmond, Virginia. Dear Madam: - I have just received your circular letter enclosing copy of a letter written by Dr. Alderman to Senator Strode, and a copy of the "Strode Co-education Bill". I do not recall that I have been interviewed with reference to my views on the measure, but I wish to say that I am unalterably opposed to any measure that admits women to any of the male colleges or universities of this State in any form or condition whatsoever.
