and Frank Nelson Rustburg I have no special means of reaching as there are no federated clubs in these counties. However I shall try to get several gentlemen I know from these counties over the phone presently and see if I can help to bring any pressure to bear upon them. Everything else failing I may risk a personal letter, though there is no reason why I should have any influence. I think a member of our Club, Mrs. La Baume, (her son rather influential in railroad circles here). Will go down next week to see if she can be of any help. Last night Mr. Battle called me up to ask my help in a local matter. I told him I would on condition he would do some active work for us for the Coordinate College - said he had already & would do more next week.
