My dear Mary: Your letter has just reached me. My influence is so small as to be entirely negligible, but you do not desire the college more ardently than do I some adequate legislation for the care of the feeble minded. For this cause I have been working & studying these twenty years & nothing else seems to me so vital. I dare not divide my tiny strength. I can only ask so much and all I ask even all I talk about to any legislator who will listen to me must be for this my cause. You who are so wholly devoted to your dream will understand, as only dreamers can. God proper you in your work. It is indeed a noble one. Yrs Always cordially R. P. Minor
