Ordered that the overseers of the Poor do bind out according to law to James Nelms, the following free persons of colour, namely, Henry Hicks who will be seventeen years old on the 1st day of September 1844:  Littleton Hicks, who will be fourteen years old on the 1st day of October next, and Benjamin Hicks who was ten years old on the 1st day of August 1844.  The Court doth assess their annual hires as follows:  Henry's 1st & 2d years at $20 each, his 3rd year at $25, and his 4th year at $35:  Littleton's 1st year at $16, his 2nd year at $18, his 3rd & 4th years at $20 each, his 5th year at $25, his 6th year at $30, and his 7th year at $35; and Benjamin's 1st year at $2, his 2nd year at $3, his 3rd year at $5, his 4th year at $8, his 5th year at $10, his 6th year at $16, his 7th & 8th years at $20 each, his 9th year at $25, his 10th year $30, and his 11th year at $35.  And it is ordered that in each instance the hires afore-[said]
