a single endorsement, tho I know several societies have passed it. And of all the letters written I have yet to receive the first answer. I have asked clubs - societies and individuals to endorse the movement - neither has any attention been paid to the League slips sent out. In our own town I think we shall succeed in getting a good many signatures, and I hope of all the graduates. I am still in hopes to have some answers - it is discouraging - and the only bright feature of it is that it will not depend on the Eighth Cong. district for its victory - for I feel well assured we shall see its passage. So many are working for it. Hope to send some endorsements very soon. Sincerely yours Cora M. Israel Feby fourteenth.
