Munford, Richmond, Va., My dear Mrs Munford: Of the many kind acts that you are constantly being found guilty , none I am sure ever gave more pleasure and encouragement than the gift of beautiful roses that you brought to my very door. We have all enjoyed the flowers and every member of the family joins me in heartiest thanks. It is simply awful to be cooped up at such a time as this. I have been sitting up for ten days and
