[imprinted letterhead] E. Lee Trinkle Attorney at Law Wytheville, Virginia

Wytheville, Va., Jany. 8th, 1916. Miss Nancy Pearson, Cobles Creek, Va. My dear Miss Pearson: -- Your letter of Jany. 5th received relative to the Co-Ordinate College. I am not able to give any definite answer to your enquiry. I am going to make a thorough study of this situation, and try to do what I conceive to be best under the conditions as they exist. This is as much as I can possibly promise. No one is more anxious to see women educated than I am; and as far as our State is able to do so, I will certainly try to throw my influence that way. Yours very truly, E Lee Trinkle
