-8- thinking is not obligatory in the Democratic party nor has it ever prevented any good Democrat from church affiliation. There is no religious plank in the Equal Suffrage platform; but It is unbelievable that anyone who reads official papers, and hears its speakers can think that leaders or suffragists in general are irreligious. Every age has its expression of faith. Thought and faith and the religion of Christ are mightier things than time can wrong. It is safe to say, that as unenfranchised women have conserved the ideals of their country in the past, enfranchised women will hold its spiritual standards as high in the future.
