THE COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA, To the Sheriff of Powhatan County, Greeting: WE COMMAND YOU that you summon Creed Taylor, Jno C. Stratton admr de bonis non with the Will annexed of Jno Cullins dec'd and Wm W Michaux Exor of William Walthall dec'd to appear before the Judge of our Circuit Superior Court of Law and Chancery for the County of Powhatan, at the Rules to be holden in the Clerk's Office of the said Circuit Superior Court, on the first Monday in March next, to answer a Bill of Injunction in Chancery, exhibited against them in our said Court, by Nancy Cullen, Sally Cullen[,] Ann Cullen & Judith Brooks wife of Wm Brooks and Wm Brooks[,] and America Cullens[.] And we also command you that you make known to the said Creed Taylor, Jno C Stratton admor as aforesaid & Wm W Michaux executor as aforesaid that unless they shall answer the said Bill within two months from the return day hereof, the Court will take the same for confessed, and decree accordingly: And this they shall in no wise omit, under the penalty of £100. each And have then there this Writ.
