Dear The Virginia League of Women Voters appreciates very much the art you played in helping o make the Governors Ball the splendid success that everyone is telling me it proved to be, and thanks you most sincerely. The League is anxious to close up the business side of the Ball and I will be glad if you will meet me at the Hotel John Marshall any time from 11:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. either Wednesday or Thursday, (November 13th or 14th) if you have not already turned over the amount you girls and boys so generously agreed to pay for the rental of your costumes. We hope that you will understand the spirit in which this letter is written and appreciate the necessity the League feels of closing this mater at the earliest possible moment. Again expressing our delight at the splendid part you took in the Ball and thanking you for your help. Cordially yours,

Mrs. E. Burnett Farmer, Managing Director .
