As the result of a correspondence with Mrs. Mary Morris Lockwood of Clarenden, Va, she has agreed to form a League at that place, and will come to Alexandria to meet Mrs. Valentine and Miss Johnston, when they fulfill an engagement there, and thoroughly discuss her ideas and views with them. I have written Mrs. Vawter of Highland Park, this city, with a view to closer local organizatio, by asking her to be the head of an auxilliary group in that community.
