This Indenture made the 15th day of November in the year Eighteen hundred and sixty five between Elisha Bounds overseer of the poor of the County of Scott of the one part and Henry A.  Morrison of said county of the other part, Witnesseth: that the said Elisha Bounds overseer of the poor as aforesaid, acting with the allowance and approbation of the county court of Scott county and in pursuance of an order of the said court to that effect, made and entered on the 15th day of November 1865 have put and bound and do by these presents put and bind Frank and Warwick free boys of color and Linda a free girl of color of said county ( who are to be provided for and assisted by the by the overseer of said county) Frank being of the age of ten years Warwick of the age of Eight years and Linda of the age of twelve years, to be apprentices to the said Henry A. Morrison to learn the business and art of a farmer as to the males and domestic business as to the female and with him to dwell and remain and serve until they the said Frank & Warwick shall attain their full age of twenty one years & the said Linda shall attain the full age of eighteen years during all which time they the said Frank Warwick & Linda their master faithfuly shal serve and obey, his secrets keep and his lawful commands willingly do and perform, and shall not absent themselves from the service of their said master day or night without his leave, but shall in all things as faithful apprentices behaves themselves towards their master and his family during the said term. And the said Henry A. Morrison in consideration of the faithful services to be performed by the said Frank Warwick & Linda doth hereby covenant, promise and agree with the said overseer of the poor and his successors in office that he the said Henry A. Morrison his said apprentices in the art or mysteries of a farmer & domestic business which he now useth, shall and will teach and instruct or cause to be taught an in the best manner that he can, and shall and will provide and allow unto the apprentices during the said time, competent and sufficient meat drink washing lodging apparel and all other things necessary for
