LESSON II. The Woman Citizen-Her Present Status and Duties. 1. By what process does she become a voting citizen? 2. Qualifications for suffrage in Virginia-sex, race, education, residence and property. Research Topic-The Civil Rights of Women in Virginia. (Interview lawyer of community.)

LESSON III. The State Legislature. How elected and how organized. How the laws are made. Subject for Discussion-Your Representatives in the Legislature and what they stand for. (Interview your Representatives in the General Assembly.) Research Topic-Welfare laws enacted by the General Assembly of 1920. Va. Constitution, Art. 4.

LESSON IV. State Officers and Their Duties. Some of the activities and problems of the present Administration. Research Topic-What has actually been accomplished during Governor Davis' administration. (Interview the Governor.) Va. Constitution, Art. 5.

LESSON V. The State Education Board-Its Personnel and Work. Research Topic-The recommendation of the recent Education Commission, and what the Legislature did with these recommendations. Subject for Discussion-What the woman citi-zen can do for the cause of education in Vir-ginia. Va. Constitution, Art 9.

LESSON VI. Our State Educational Institutions. 1. How governed and how supported. 2. What are their various functions in State education. 3. Do they admit women? If so, what con-ditions? 4. Educational aids, such as libraries, exten-sion courses, etc.

LESSON VII. Taxation for the Support of the State. The Principles and Benefits of Taxation. Research Topic-Present Forms of Taxation.
