The regular monthly meeting of the Equal Suffrage League of Norfolk was called to order by the President in the Green Room of the Lynnhaven Hotel, Tuesday, February 5th, at 4 p.m. 1912 Mrs. Marshall of the Florence Crittenton Home for Girls, Norfolk, made an interesting address, telling something of her work and emphasizing the need of better laws regulating social relations - especially the crying need of a law raising the "age of consent" from fourteen to eighteen or twenty.
