William A Clement & Henry M Didlake to appear before the judge of our Circuit superior Court of Law and Chancery, of our County of Campbell, at the Court House, on the 1st day of our May term next, to testify and the truth to speak in be half of Armistead Long in a certain matter of controversy, then and there depending and undetermined between said Long Plaintiff and German Jordan Defendant  And this they shall in no wise omit, under the penalty of $300. And have then there this writ. Witness, JOHN D. ALEXANDER, Clerk of our said Court, the 28 day of March 1848, in the 72nd year of the Commonwealth.   Jno. D. Alexander
