To the Sheriff of Campbell County, Greeting: WE command you to summon Edmund N Nasser to K Henley Thomas [illegible] [Poinedesiter?] William A Clement and Henry M [Aiolake?] to appear before the Judge of our Circuit Superior Court of Law and Chancery of our county of Campbell, at the Court-house, on the 1st day of October term next, to testify and truth to speak in be- half of [Armistead?] song in a certain matter of controversy then and there depending and undetermined between said song Plaintiff and German Jordan Defendant. And this they shall in no wise omit, under the penalty of $300. And have then there this writ. Witness, JOHN D. ALEXANDER, Clerk of our said Court, the 1st day of September 1847, in the 72nd year of the Commonwealth. John. W. Alexander
