Ans: I have been a resident of Farmville for since 1833 and new James M Jackson well, and was on visiting terms with his family. I knew Mary and her two children and always believe them to be the property of James Jackson and never suppose them to be the property of any body else. I never heard of any claim being sent up for them by any one else, until this suit was brought and farther this deponent sayeth not.
