by Nat Williams (meaning your orator) at $800 June 4th 1845 or words to that effect-the words are not remembered exactly but the said Bill & the Endorsement thereon will shew your orator calls on the said Stevens to [exhibit?] the same. It is also evident from an instruction of the said that an has been made by some one to the said words by scratching them out but the was not successful and the is now plain. Your also states that in the face of the Bill of the word 'redeemable' has been inserted in the hand-writing of said Stevens at the same time the aforesaid was made. All of which facts go to sustain the allegations of the original Bill & your prays that the said Stevens be made to this & all the allegations hereof Bill and the same as well as the original Bill on oath & that your Honor would decree as prayed for in the original Bill & g't such other & further relief as to may meet .
