My dear Father: - Your letter of Oct 14th came yesterday and I was so glad to hear from you - also had one from Rob Too - There are certainly some happy boys over here now - We got the message yesterday morning that all fighting would stop at eleven oclock that day, and it did - our division was on the front, and I have certainly seen some awful things in the last few days, it was such a pity that they had to go in so near the end - I will write you all about it a little later on - One of the boys were brought in on a letter, and I was holding
