This Indenture made this 18th day of March 1819 between James B. Ferguson of the one part, George Woodson Payne & Nicholas M. Vaughan of the second part and William Bolling of the third part all of the county of Goochland Witnesseth; That the said James B Ferguson for & in consideration of the sum of two thousand dollars to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is herby acknowledged hath granted bargaining & sold & by these presents doth grant bargain & sell to the said Geo Woodson Payne & Nicholas M. Vaughan the following negroe slaves to wit; Phillis, Amey, Jacob, Nancy & child Jinney, Betty & her three children, Mary, Tom, & Nancy, Pucket, Betsey, Marie & Suky & the future increase of the aforesaid females to have & to hold the aforesaid slaves  their future increase to them the said Geo Woodson Payne & Nicholas M Vaughan & their heirs forever, and the said James B Ferguson doth b these presents bind himself & his heirs to warrant & foreverdefnd to the said George W Payne & Nicholas M Vaughan a good & absolute right & title to the aforesaid slaves free & clear from the claim of claims of all & every person whatsoever. In trust nevertheless upon the following conditions & for the following purposes to wit; Whereas the said James B Ferguson hat executed to the said William Bolling four several bonds in the sum of six hundred & nineteen dollars & forty cents each, which said bonds each bear date on the 13th day of Decemb 1815 & are payable as follows viz; The first on or before the 1st day of December 1817; the second on or before the 1st day of December 1818; the third on or before the 1st day of December 1819 and the
