Know all men by these presents, that Cleon Moore and Henry Moore of the Town of Alexandria, in the District of Columbia, as well for and in Consideration of the sum of one dollar to them in hand paid by George Washington Park Custis the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge, and thereof do exonerate and discharge him his Executors, administrators, and assigns; as to save himself and indemnify the said George Washington Park Custis, his Executors and administrators against an endorsement he hath made of a Note for the said Cleon Moore for two hundred dollars negotiable in the Bank of Alexandria, bearing equal date, herewith or any any renewal or renewals, of the said Note in case the same should be discounted and finally to secure the payment thereof to the Bank whenever the directors there of may require the money, and to secure the payment with all the Interest to the Bank or to the said George Washington Park Custis of the said two hundred dollars, his executors and administrators, they the said Cleon Moore and Henry Moore have granted bargained and sold. and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said George Washington Park Custis his executors & administrators, a negro Woman named Mary about thirty years old, her daughter Sal about thirteen years old, her daughter Jane about seven years and a child called Milly about sixteen months. also all the Furniture now in Cleon Moore's house which he pretty much in the state it is now in and one cow conveyed to Henry Moore (with the said slaves such as were born and the increase) on the [blank] day of [blank]
