two tables, bureau & safe, together with all the residue of my household & kitchen furniture, consisting of chairs, knives, forks earthenware, wood & ironware &c. & also one horse & Gig & harness, Four heads of cattle with their increase, thirteen head of hogs, & twenty barrels of my present growing crop of corn, To have & to hold the said hereby granted, or intended to be hereby granted, property unto the said Thomas Oldham his heirs & assigns forever.  Upon trust nevertheless that the said Thomas Oldham for himself his heirs & assigns, doth hereby covenant promise and agree in manner & form following that is to say, that the said Jos. D Pursley shall remain in quiet & peaceable possession of the said property & take the profits thereof to his own use, untill default be made by the said Pursley in the payment of the said sums of money herein beforementioned or either of them, either in the whole or in part, or untill the said Henry L Biscoe shall suffer by paying the same or any part thereof, and then upon this further trust so soon after the happening of such default as he the said Henry L Biscoe shall think proper to directed he the said Thomas Oldham shall sell the said hereby granted property or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to the highest bidder for ready money at public auction after having fixed the time & place of sale at his own discretion & given twenty days notice thereof by advertisement to be set up at Lancaster Courthouse & at [Literalton?] previous to the day of sale, & out of the monies arising from such sale shall after satisfying the charges thereof, & all other expenses attending the premises pay to the said Henry L Biscoe his executors - admors & assigns the said sum or sums, which he may have paid
