we command you that you summon Daniel Hornsby free negroe to appear before the Justices of the County Court of Accomack at the Court House on the last Monday in March next to show cause if any he can why on information should not be filed against him in our said Court on a Presentment of the Grand Jury for remaining in the Commonwealth more than twelve months after his right to freedom accrued, having been emancipated since the first day of May eighteen hundred & six.
