We command you that you summon Bob Cropper (free negro) to appear before the Justice of our County [Courts] for the said County, on the first day of the next term, to shew cause why an information should not be filed against him, upon a Presntment of the Grand Jury, made against him in the said Court, for remaining in this Commonwealth, more than twelve months after his right to freedom acrued, he having been emancipated since the F'day [Friday] of May [1806] and have then and there writ.
