The Commonwealth of Virginia: To the Sheriff of Accomack County: Greeting: We command you, as we have heretofore commanded you, that you do not omit for any liberty in your bailiwick, but that you take Parker Bayne free negro late of the Parish of Accomack & County of Accomack, if he be found within the same, and him safely keep, so that you have his body before the justices of our County Court of Accomack, on the 1st day of August term next to answer us of a certain misdemeanor whereof he stand charged. And have then there this writ: witness Thomas R. Joynes Clerk of our said Court of Accomack County this 18 day of July 1842 & in the 67th year of the Commonwealth. Teste J. J. Aitmore Dy for Tho. R.
