The Commonwealth of Virginia To the Sheriff of Accomack County, Greeting: We command you, as we have heretofore oftentimes commanded you, that you do not omit for any liberty in your bailiwick, but that you take Parker Bayne (fn) of the Parish of King George & County of Accomack, if he be found within the same, and him safely keep, so that you have his body before the justices of [one] County Court for the said county of Accomack, on the 1st day of November term next, to answer us of a certain misdemeanor whereof he stands charged. And have then there this writ: witness Thomas R. Joyner Clerk of one said Court of Accomack County on the 25th day of October 1842 & in the 67th year of the Commonwealth. Teste J. J.
