A Benefit For Music Scholarship Was Held at Northern Virginia Community College

On the evening of January 23, 1998, Northern Virginia Community College in Annandale hosted Women in Jazz: A Musical Celebration to Benefit the Jazz Program and Music Scholarship Fund. The Master of Ceremonies was jazz vocalist Julian Hipkins of Washington, D.C., and the Mistress of Ceremonies was Northern Virginia Community College student and jazz vocalist, Janice Zucker. The performers included students and other Washington, D.C.–area artists.
