to appear before the Judge of our Circuit Superior Court of Law and Chancery of our county of Campbell, at the Court-house, on the 14 day of July term next, to testify and the truth to speak in behalf of German Jordan in a certain matter of controversy then and there depending and undetermined between

Armistead Long ----- Plaintiff and said Jordan ---------- Defendant. And
