Halifax County to wit This day Garrett W Davis of lawful age personally appeared before me a Justice of the peace for the County aforesaid and made oath that he delivered to John R Bennett a true copy of the within notice on the [blank] day of August 1841. Given under my hand this [blank] day of August 1841 [blank] J.P.

Bennett a true Copy of the within notice on the 10th day of August 1841 and Requested her to hand it to said John R Bennett. Given under my hand this the 10th day of August 1841 Wm M. Cabaniss JP.
