To Francis L Royall Take notice that I shall on Monday 5th day of April 1841 between the hours of 8 O. Clock A.M. & 6 Oclock P.M. of that day at the Tavern House Kept by Nathl Poindexter at Halifax Court House Virginia I shall proceed to take the deposition of Thomas J. Shelton & others to be read as evidence on the trial of an Injunction now depending in the Circuit Superior Court of Law and Chancery for Halifax County in which myself as admr. in right of my wife & my wife admr. of A.C. Shelton decd. are plaintiffs & yourself & others defendants and if the taking of said depositions shall not be completed on that day the same will be continued from day to day till finished Yours Jno.
