Middletown Mr Isaac F Hite Dr [Dear] Sir Your favour under dates 14 and 28 Ulto was duly received Your instructions to sell your Flour have come to hand at a time when large quantities are arriving from the Susquehanna River, we have in consequence been unable to effect a Sale to meet your limits $6.75 = We will endeavor to effect a Sale as speedily as possible, when your discount will be forwarded Your Draft for $600 was presented and paid on the 23 Inst Very Respectfully W H Beatty & Co
